At Nanoelectronics Research Lab we conduct research on emerging materials, devices, and interconnects, and explore novel circuit architectures to exploit them to their full potentials. As such, our research crosses many levels of abstraction and covers a diverse set of electronic, magnetic/spintronic, ferroelectric, and multiferroic components and circuits. We explore technology/architecture co-optimization for both CMOS-based von Neumann and beyond-CMOS non-Boolean computational systems.
Our lab leads the beyond-CMOS benchmarking research at the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) Nanoelectronics Research Initiative (NRI) and the SRC Semiconductor Technology Advanced Research Network (STARnet).
Jonathan Jeffrey is selected as a recipient of a President’s Undergraduate Research Salary Award (PURA) for Spring 2018.
Ramy Said received an Outstanding Poster Award at the GT Institute for Electronic and Nanotechnology Conference in May 2017.
Will Scott, Vishnu Tanguturi, Yue Zheng, and Rouhollah Iraei won the People's Choice Award at The Opportunity Research Scholars Program (ORS), the School of ECE, April 2017.
